WIRE ROD
NPA Skawina is the only in Poland and one of few in Europe among manufacturers of wire rods with minimum purity of 99.7%, i.e. inlet material for wire extrusion, used in the production of overhead conductors as well as aluminium and aluminium alloy cables. Our product range also features not electrical used in metallurgy as a deoxidation wire.
Our products are manufactured based on international standards, including European EN, Polish PN, German DIN, American ASTM, Russian GOST or specifications supplied by the Customer.
The wide range of diameters allows for meeting the customers’ expectations and manufacturing of specialist products for customised orders.

ALUMINIUM ALLOY WIRE ROD
Aluminium alloy wire rods are used in the production of power cables and for mechanical purposes. The production of a wide range of alloys is based on experienced gained over 66 years of wire rod manufacturing, close co-operation with our customers and science institutions. The manufactured products include wire rods from the following series: 3xxx, 4xxx, 5xxx, 6xxx, 8xxx, AlZr, Al59.
We are gradually commencing the manufacturing of new high-strength alloys from the following series: 2xxx, 5xxx and 7xxx.
ALUMINIUM WIRE ROD FOR STEEL DEOXIDATION
NPA Skawina’s offer also features wire rods for steel deoxidation, which are used during steel production as the so-called de-oxidant.
Packaging: NPA Skawina supplies the wire rods in single section rings with disentangled rolls tied in four spots with a steel tape. At the customer’s request, it is possible to wrap the rings in film and supply the rings on wooden pallets. It is possible to package the wire rod rings horizontally and vertically.
