The first tests on the new CCR line
We are proud to announce that in recent days we have done the first tests on the new CCR line. The tests concerned the production of the aluminium alloy wire rod 5xxx series.
During the test, we produced an aluminium alloy EN AW 5050 wire rod with a diameter of 9.5 mm, temper F. The magnesium content in this alloy is 1.5%.
The test was positive and we produced about 15 tons of wire rod.
Congratulations to the team – well done!
The next step is ahead – Mg content at 3%.
Test date: 26.03.2020.
